“Fashion anticipates, and elegance is a state of mind.”-Oleg Lolewski Cassini
As Cassini said, Elegance has to be in every fiber of the person who possesses it. Wearing an expensive dress and a pair of stiletto pumps does not make a person elegant. Elegance is something that totally speaks from the heart of everyone of us, because it captures the very essence of the kind of life you want to live.
It’s about dignified grace, good taste, refinement, charm, class, delicateness, exquisiteness, sophistication, and this beautiful list goes on. Elegance for me it’s not about trying to fit into an unfamiliar world or forcing myself to be something I’m not.
It’s never about trying too hard to impress anybody but more about having a sense of sophistication that is directly poured from my own soul.
Ultimately, the Elegance is not about your clothes. Elegance is a state of being. You don’t put it on and then take it off along with your clothes. But, if you have it, you will illuminate your clothes with it.
“The only real elegance is in the mind, if you’ve got that, the rest comes from it”.-Diane Vreeland (a renowned fashion columnist and editor who worked for Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue.)
